SBI Clerk prelims tentatively scheduled for September 26 and 27

SBI's careers page lists September 26 and 27 as the tentative preliminary examination dates for Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) recruitment under Advertisement No. CRPD/CR/2026-27/17, released 11 August 2026 for 9,766 vacancies - 7,680 regular plus 2,086 backlog posts - across various states. Applications were accepted from August 11 to August 31 and are now closed; the Mains examination is scheduled for 23 November 2026, and selection also includes a Local Language Proficiency Test, since candidates applying for a particular state/UT must know the specified local language. Selected candidates are placed in the pay scale of Rs 24,050 to Rs 64,480 plus admissible allowances, and Junior Associates are not permitted inter-circle or interstate transfers until they complete five years of service. Pre-examination training material is available, and call letters will be issued in due course.
