SBI PO selection typically runs through a Preliminary examination, a Main examination (objective sections plus a descriptive/letter-writing component), and a Group Exercise and Interview stage before a final merit list is issued. Download the call letter and check your details, venue, date and reporting time, following its instructions on photographs and ID exactly. Prelims marks are not counted in SBI PO's final merit; in recent notifications, the Main exam (objective tests plus a descriptive letter and essay paper) carries 75 of the 100 final marks and Phase III (psychometric test, group exercise and interview) carries 25. That makes the Main exam the decisive step, so prioritise timed mock tests and keep practising the descriptive paper rather than leaving it to the end. Recent notifications also say only about three times the number of vacancies may be called to Phase III, so beginning light interview preparation early is sensible.
