SSC MTS/Havaldar 2025: CBE result declared, PET/PST shortlist out

The Staff Selection Commission declared the result of the Computer-Based Examination (CBE) for its Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination 2025, shortlisting candidates for the PET/PST stage for Havaldar posts. The original notice for this exam was issued on 26 June 2025, drawing 36,19,834 applications; the CBE itself was conducted from 4 to 20 February 2026 across multiple shifts, with 8,04,633 candidates appearing. Scores were normalised across shifts per the Commission's published formula, and candidates were shortlisted for Havaldar PET/PST in a 1:7 (vacancy:candidate) ratio based on normalised Session-II scores, subject to minimum qualifying marks of 30% (UR), 25% (OBC/EWS) and 20% (other categories) in both sessions. Candidates who do not qualify PET/PST remain eligible for the separate MTS post if shortlisted; a combined tentative allocation result for both MTS and Havaldar posts will follow later. The Commission also flagged 727 candidates for exam malpractice under Para 20 of the Notice of Examination, with their results affected accordingly.
