The Staff Selection Commission declared the result of the Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination 2026 on 12 October 2026, shortlisting candidates for the Physical Efficiency Test/Physical Standard Test (PET/PST) stage. The Computer Based Examination was held from 27 April to 30 May 2026 and drew 21,56,776 candidates; minimum qualifying marks for shortlisting were set at 30% for UR, 25% for OBC/EWS and 20% for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen candidates. Recruitment covers the BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, Assam Rifles and the Secretariat Security Force (SSF). The Commission has published separate category-wise cut-off lists for female candidates, male candidates against SSF's all-India vacancies, and male candidates against other forces' state/UT-wise vacancies; results for 60 candidates have been withheld and 88 debarred candidates were not processed. Call letters for the PET/PST, to be conducted by the CAPFs, will be issued by the nodal CAPF (CRPF) - candidates should watch rect.crpf.gov.in for further updates.

What this means for you
Finding your result means finding the right list first: the Commission has published separate cut-off lists for female candidates, for male candidates against the SSF's all-India vacancies, and for male candidates against the other forces' state/UT-wise vacancies - so look up your gender, category and the state or UT you applied under. The 30/25/20 percent figures are only the floor for being considered; the shortlisting cut-off in your own list is what decided it, and with 21,56,776 candidates in the CBE those lists, not the floor, tell the story. Results of 60 candidates are withheld and 88 debarred candidates were not processed. The PET/PST is run by the CAPFs with the CRPF as nodal force, so the call letter will come from rect.crpf.gov.in, not from ssc.gov.in - start physical preparation now rather than when the letter arrives.
