Pariksha SaathiRRB ALP CEN 01/2026: CBT-1 Tentatively Scheduled for 3 to 5 November 2026; Aadhaar Biometric Check at Centres
The Railway Recruitment Boards' notice on CEN 01/2026 (Assistant Loco Pilot) gives the tentative schedule of the first-stage Computer Based Test as 3 to 5 November 2026. The link to view the exam city and date, and to download the travel authority for SC/ST candidates, will go live on the RRB websites 10 days before the exam; e-call letters can be downloaded 4 days before the exam date shown in that link. Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication will be done at the exam centre before entry, so candidates must bring their original Aadhaar card or an e-verified Aadhaar printout, and are advised to complete Aadhaar verification by logging in at rrbapply.gov.in if not already done.
Important dates
- CBT-1 (tentative)
- 2026-11-03 to 2026-11-05
- Exam city and date link
- 10 days before the exam
- E-call letter download
- 4 days before the exam date
What this means for you
With CBT-1 pencilled in for 3 to 5 November, the one thing to do today is the Aadhaar step: biometric authentication happens at the centre gate, so log in at rrbapply.gov.in, complete Aadhaar verification if it is still pending, and keep the original Aadhaar card (or an e-verified printout) with your documents. The rest follows a fixed rhythm - exam city and date 10 days before, e-call letter 4 days before the date shown - so travel bookings before the city link are a gamble. The dates are tentative; if they move, the same links will carry the change. Use the remaining weeks for timed full-length practice rather than new topics.
