The Railway Recruitment Boards' Centralised Employment Notice CEN 06/2026 for Non-Technical Popular Categories (Graduate) posts carries 3,548 vacancies across RRBs for Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor (Pay Level 6), Goods Train Manager, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist and Senior Clerk cum Typist (Pay Level 5). Online applications opened on 8 October 2026 and close at 23:59 on 6 November 2026. The age limit is 18 to 33 years as on 1 January 2027, with the usual relaxations. Selection is through a first-stage CBT (100 questions, 90 minutes) and a second-stage CBT (120 questions, 90 minutes), each with negative marking of one-third mark, followed by document verification; the typing skill test has been dispensed with for this CEN. The under-graduate posts are notified separately under CEN 07/2026.

What this means for you
Three details decide whether this CEN is for you. The age window is 18 to 33 as on 1 January 2027 (plus the usual relaxations), so check your date of birth against that date, not today's. The typing skill test has been dispensed with for this CEN, which removes the step that used to filter candidates for the Junior Accounts Assistant and Senior Clerk posts - selection is now the two CBTs plus document verification. And both CBTs carry negative marking of one-third mark, so accuracy matters as much as attempts (100 questions in 90 minutes in stage one, 120 in 90 minutes in stage two).
