State Bank of India has announced tentative dates for Phase-III of the Probationary Officers recruitment 2026-27 (Advertisement CRPD/PO/2026-27/09): the psychometric test is to be held on 31 October 2026 and the group exercise and interviews are to begin on 18 November 2026. Call letters with the exact date and time will be released shortly on the bank's careers site. Phase-III carries 50 marks (group exercise 20, interview 30); the final merit list combines Main examination marks normalised to 75 with Phase-III marks normalised to 25, and preliminary examination marks are not counted.

What this means for you
If you cleared the Main examination, the arithmetic of Phase-III is what matters now. The final merit list counts the Main marks normalised to 75 and Phase-III normalised to 25 - the preliminary marks are gone - so a quarter of your final standing is decided in the group exercise (20 marks) and the interview (30 marks). The psychometric test on 31 October comes first; the group exercise and interviews start on 18 November, both dates tentative until the call letter, which will carry your exact date and time.
