What this means for you
A proposed date in the Commission's calendar is a planning anchor, not a confirmation: the calendar itself says every date may change, and a Prelims date becomes real only when the e-admit card goes live on the Commission's website. Treat 6 December 2026 as the end of your preparation runway, with the last fortnight kept for previous-year papers under exam timing and the CSAT paper practised to its qualifying standard, not neglected. Re-check the calendar page in November; if the date moves, your plan moves with it, your syllabus does not.
