Pariksha SaathiBPSC 72nd CCE Prelims postponed from 26 July 2026; the later 25 October 2026 date was also postponed on 12 October
An Important Notice signed by the Controller of Examinations states that the Integrated 72nd Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination, which was to be held on 26 July 2026 (Sunday), is postponed for unavoidable reasons and that the new date will be announced later. The Commission's exam calendar dated 14-08-2026 (all dates tentative) then listed the Integrated 72nd CCE, with 1189 vacancies, for Prelims/MCQ on 25-10-2026; a further notice of 12 October 2026 postponed that date too, again with the new date to be announced later. What this means for you
Both dates in this notice are now off: 26 July was postponed in July, and the 25 October date from the Commission's tentative calendar was postponed by a notice of 12 October, which gives no new date. Until BPSC announces one, treat the Prelims as undated and keep revising at full pace rather than easing off, since the Commission has not said how much notice the new date will come with. The delay is extra time: put it into Bihar-specific General Studies and the current affairs of the months since July, which a later exam will cover.
