State Bank of India's careers page says the online Main Examination for the Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) special recruitment drive for SC/ST/OBC backlog vacancies, Advt. No. CRPD/CR/SPLDRIVE/2026-27/16, is scheduled on 29.10.2026, and the link to download the Mains call letter is available; this drive is separate from the regular JA 2026 recruitment. The Acquaint Yourself booklet for the Mains gives four separately timed tests: General/Financial Awareness (50 questions, 50 marks, 35 minutes), General English (40, 40, 35 minutes), Quantitative Aptitude (50, 50, 45 minutes) and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude (50, 60, 45 minutes), 190 questions and 200 marks in 2 hours 40 minutes, with one-fourth of a question's marks deducted for each wrong answer. There is no minimum for individual subjects; the aggregate minimum is as the bank decides, and Prelims marks are not added for selection. Candidates must report 15 minutes before the reporting time with the Mains call letter (photo affixed), original photo ID with a photocopy, and the Prelims call letter and ID copy stamped at the Prelims; a wait list of up to 50% of vacancies (state- and category-wise) is valid for one year.

What this means for you
This concerns only candidates of the SC/ST/OBC backlog drive (Advt. CRPD/CR/SPLDRIVE/2026-27/16) who cleared its Prelims; the regular JA 2026 recruitment runs on its own schedule. Practise in the Mains format: four separately timed sections, so time saved in one cannot be spent in another, and Reasoning & Computer Aptitude is the only section with more marks (60) than questions (50). A quarter of a question's marks is cut for each wrong answer and only the Mains aggregate counts for selection, so accuracy matters more than the number of attempts. On the day, the Prelims call letter and the ID copy stamped at the Prelims are needed along with the Mains call letter and your original photo ID; without them you will not be allowed in.
