RRB ALP CEN 01/2026: CBT-1 city intimation link live; exam on 3, 4 and 5 November 2026
The Railway Recruitment Boards' notice dated 23.10.2026 says the link to view the exam city and date of the first-stage Computer Based Test (CBT-1) of CEN 01/2026 (Assistant Loco Pilot), and for SC/ST candidates to download their Travel Authority, is live on the official RRB website. The exam is scheduled on 03.11.2026, 04.11.2026 and 05.11.2026; candidates can view their exam city about 10 days (tentatively) before their exam date, and e-call letters can be downloaded about 4 days (tentatively) before the date shown in the city intimation. Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication will be done at the centre before entry to the exam hall: candidates must bring their original Aadhaar card or a printout of e-verified Aadhaar, should complete Aadhaar verification by logging in at www.rrbapply.gov.in if not done already, must keep their Aadhaar unlocked in the UIDAI system, and should make sure their Aadhaar has the correct name, date of birth (as per the Class 10 certificate), latest photograph, updated biometrics, address and father's name. The helpdesk number is 7996342666 (Monday to Saturday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm).

What this means for you
Open the city intimation link on your RRB's official website now and note your exam city and date: the exam runs on only three days, 3 to 5 November, so book travel early, and SC/ST candidates should download their Travel Authority from the same link. Download the e-call letter about four days before your date and check every detail on it. Aadhaar-linked biometric checks happen before you enter the hall, so unlock your Aadhaar in the UIDAI system before you leave, carry the original Aadhaar card or an e-verified Aadhaar printout, and make sure the name and date of birth on your Aadhaar match your Class 10 certificate. For problems, use only the official RRB websites and the helpdesk number in the notice, and ignore anyone who promises selection for money.
