RRB NTPC Undergraduate (CEN 07/2025): choose your typing test language by 18 November 2026; PwBD exemption certificates by 25 November; CBTST rules issued
In two notices dated 04.11.2026 for CEN 07/2025 (NTPC Undergraduate), the Railway Recruitment Boards ask candidates shortlisted for the Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) to choose their typing language, English or Hindi, through the link on the unified official RRB website (log in, open the "Language for CBTST" tab, select English or Hindi and click "Submit"). The option is live from 04.11.2026 (from 5:00 PM) to 18.11.2026 (up to 11:55 PM); it cannot be changed once exercised, and candidates who do not choose will type in English by default. Those opting for Hindi must be familiar with the Krutidev or Mangal font. Under para 13.3 of CEN 07/2025, shortlisted PwBD candidates with not less than 40% permanent disability due to blindness/low vision, cerebral palsy or locomotor disability may be exempted from the CBTST if they upload a scanned typing skill test exemption certificate issued by a competent medical board in the Annexure V(H) format, through the "Helpdesk" tab ("Raise Query Ticket", problem category Typing Skill Test, problem type Upload Exemption Certificate; JPG or PDF, up to 5MB), from 04.11.2026 (from 5:00 PM) to 25.11.2026 (up to 11:55 PM). Those who cannot upload may report at the allotted CBTST venue with the original certificate, and the original must also be produced at document verification, failing which candidature will be summarily rejected. The special instructions say candidates must type at least 300 words in English or 250 words in Hindi in a 10-minute test, after one minute of typing practice and a five-minute break; 5% mistakes of the total words typed may be ignored, the minimum speed is 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi, and editing tools are not permitted. Bring your original Aadhaar card for the biometric check at the centre.
