RRB Group D fee refund (CEN 09/2025): final one-time chance to update bank account details, 5 to 11 November 2026
The Railway Recruitment Boards' notice dated 04.11.2026 for CEN No. 09/2025 (various posts of Level-1) says the boards have started refunding the examination fee to candidates who attended the CBT held from 03.08.2026 to 25.08.2026, as per para 7.0 of CEN 09/2025, using the bank account details given in the online application form. Some candidates' refunds could not be processed because of incorrect bank account, IFSC or other details given in the application, so the boards are giving a final, one-time opportunity to provide valid bank account details: an Update Bank Account link on the official RRB websites will be live from 05/11/2026, 00:00 Hrs. to 11/11/2026, 23:59 Hrs. Check the bank account number and IFSC code carefully before submitting, because the details cannot be modified after submission, and the RRBs will not be responsible if a refund fails because of incorrect details. The refund (after deduction of bank charges) is subject to verification of the candidate's particulars with RRB records; incorrect, incomplete or late claims will be summarily rejected; only one refund per bank account will be allowed; and no further correspondence on the fee refund will be entertained from candidates who do not use this opportunity. The same bank details will also be used later to refund the fee paid by candidates whose objections to questions, answers or options were found correct after review, in terms of the RRB notice dated 07.09.2026.

What this means for you
If you appeared in the RRB Group D (CEN 09/2025) CBT between 3 and 25 August 2026 and your exam-fee refund has not reached you, use the Update Bank Account link on your RRB's website before 23:59 on 11 November 2026. Copy the account number and IFSC code from your passbook or a cheque and check them twice before you submit, because you cannot change them afterwards and late or incorrect claims are rejected. Use your own account, since only one refund is allowed per bank account. Confirm the details in the official notice.
