Rajasthan Police Constable Syllabus & Exam Pattern

Rajasthan Police Constable recruitment starts from the Common Eligibility Test and runs through a written test and physical tests. The stages

Common Eligibility Test (Senior Secondary Level)

The gateway to the recruitment. For the 2025 constable recruitment, the notification invited applications only from candidates who had cleared the 2024 test.

Written test

One OMR-based objective paper in three parts, with negative marking for wrong answers. Its marks count towards the final selection. There is no written test for Constable (Band).

Physical efficiency test and physical standard test

A qualifying timed run, followed by measurement of height, chest (men) or height and weight (women). Constable (Band) candidates come straight to this stage.

Proficiency test (Driver and Band posts)

Practical tests of driving and vehicle upkeep for Constable (Driver), and of band instruments and tunes for Constable (Band).

What’s tested in the written test

Reasoning, Logical Aptitude, General Mathematics and basic Computer Knowledge

The first part of the paper, as named in the notification. It does not publish a topic list.

General Knowledge, General Science, Social Science and Current Affairs

The second part, which also covers the rights of women and children and the schemes and institutions the Rajasthan Government runs for them. No topic list is published.

History, Culture, Art, Geography, Polity and Economy of Rajasthan

The third part, on Rajasthan itself. No topic list is published.

What this recruitment is for

Rajasthan Police fills Constable (General Duty), Constable (Driver) and Constable (Band) posts in its districts, units and battalions, with Police Telecom constable posts advertised separately. Candidates apply to one district or unit and one post.
