INS Mysore completes fourth Samudra Laksamana exercise

The Defence Ministry reported INS Mysore's participation in the fourth edition of Exercise Samudra Laksamana with the Royal Malaysian Navy, held at Lumut, Malaysia, from September 9 to 12. INS Mysore is a Kolkata-class guided-missile destroyer. The exercise's harbour phase featured professional exchanges between personnel of the two navies, sharing experience and building mutual understanding, before the sea phase saw INS Mysore exercise alongside Royal Malaysian Navy ships KD Lekir and KD Gagah Samudera in coordinated maritime evolutions. The drills were designed to enhance interoperability and refine operational coordination between the two navies, part of India's ongoing programme of bilateral naval exercises with regional partners across the Indo-Pacific.
