The Commerce Ministry estimated India's combined merchandise and services exports at $399.27 billion during April-August 2026-27, up 15.55% from $345.55 billion in the same period a year earlier. Merchandise exports stood at $215.91 billion (against $183.21 billion previously) and services exports at an estimated $38.87 billion (against $31.19 billion), with the services figure an estimate since the latest available RBI services data covered only July. The United States remained India's largest single export destination for the period, with exports to the US reaching about $42.79 billion (up from $40.31 billion a year earlier), while exports to the core BRICS nations grew 34% to $19.9 billion over the same five months.
