NLMC's 21st board meeting recommends over Rs 5,000 crore in asset monetisation
The National Land Monetization Corporation's (NLMC) 21st Board Meeting, reviewing the progress of its ongoing asset-monetisation programme, financial performance and institutional initiatives, recommended proposals covering surplus government land and building assets worth more than ₹5,000 crore for monetisation. The board reviewed NLMC's ongoing coordination with Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) and other government entities to identify suitable assets, conduct due diligence, facilitate valuation, and structure the monetisation process for each, and stressed the need to maintain momentum and strengthen coordination with stakeholder entities to ensure timely execution of pending monetisation cases.
