Teacher posts in Delhi

Every post in the advertisement is Group B (non-gazetted, non-ministerial) at Pay Level 7. The TGT posts are advertised subject by subject, with separate post codes for male and female teachers, and all the posts are filled through the same one-tier exam: a section on general subjects and a section on the subject of the post.

The upper age limit is 30 years for every post code, judged on 7 November 2025, with relaxations for reserved categories and others listed in the advertisement. The advertisement does not describe day-to-day duties, so this page does not either.

Pay: Pay Level 7

The advertisement prints the same pay for every post: Pay Level 7, ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400.

It does not state an in-hand salary or list allowances, so this page does not estimate one. Your actual pay depends on the allowances and deductions in force at the time of your appointment.

The pay figures above are copied from Advt. No. 06/2025. The official advertisement is the authority, so confirm current numbers against DSSSB Advt. No. 06/2025 (PDF).
