Rajasthan Police Constable Salary 2025: Official Pay and Job Profile

Rajasthan Police’s constable recruitment fills three kinds of constable post in its districts, units and battalions. Here is what the 2025 notification says about the posts and their pay, with a link to the official source.

Constable posts in Rajasthan Police

Candidates apply to one district or unit and one post. Merit lists are prepared unit-wise and category-wise, and before appointment selected candidates go through a medical examination, verification of their documents and character verification. Appointment is on probation.

The posts advertised

Constable (General Duty)

Constable posts in the police, RAC, MBC and Intelligence units and battalions, filled through the written test, physical tests and special-qualification marks.

Constable (Driver)

Constable posts for drivers. Applicants need valid licences for both light and heavy motor vehicles (LMV and HMV), issued at least one year before the cut-off date in the notification, and a proficiency test is part of selection.

Constable (Band)

Constable posts for the police band. There is no written test for this post; selection is through the physical tests and a proficiency test.

Pay: a fixed amount first, then Level 5

After appointment, a probationary trainee is paid a fixed remuneration of ₹14,600 a month for two years. After that, the notification says the post carries the regular pay of Level 5 of the pay matrix, with other allowances as per the rules.
